I absolutely agree. And they practice what they preach. I would also shank a bitch for this house. I could even forgive that golf course.

I designed our house...certainly not near as grand as this. His idea of transitions melds with FLW as pertains to the blending of the surrounding landscape, and moving from there to the interior, and even transitions through the interior from one major space to the next. It's rather important, IMO, and that's what i did with ours.
Yep, I could live there --- despite the golf course.

That home is gorgeous! But my mind would hurt with that much thought of transitions. Of course....the house is stunning, but that car they were in won me over truth be told. When cars had style and grace and were cool. I can't be sure, but it looked like a vintage Citroen. My grandfather had a hard top on. The best suspension ever in a car.

Many fine mid-century homes like that in Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta and Cahuilla Hills in the Palm Springs metro area.

The car is either a Citroen DS Usine convertible of which 1365 were built at the factory or by coach builder Chapron, the Le Croisette and Palm Beach models of which only 50 were built. The factory and Chapron versions were built between 1960-1972.
