Oh, shredded..?

This, babes, is what’s going on with many of your insta faves.

Yes, those very pretty men with so much pretty privilege did not wake up like that. It costed them a lot. Social media and the penchant of the algorithm to feed you anything it thinks you like or find interesting leads some men to do the craziest things to be part of that top percent of people. As one of course does for clicks, likes and views in these influencer- driven times.

Eye opening.

Because it’s never been so easy and yet so difficult to be pretty.

XOXO

  1. Masculinity is not in how you look. Doesn't work like that. And the idea that these men, young and old, are doing these things to their bodies because they think it makes them masculine is kinda strange.

    1. I think you would have to step into a gym and shout that out so they hear it.
It's incredibly disturbing to listen to these men talk about what makes a 'man'.

  2. I feel bad for these men (and women). They have Body Dysmorphia, and all too often they hangout with people suffering from the same problem. For many, the reward for this dysfunction is getting their picture in a magazine, or some sort of sponsorship and many never achieve that aspiration.

    1. Oh, so often do those men in your feed.
Taking painstakingly posed photos so their abs are front and central and accentuating that waist-to-shoulder ratio to the max is part of that dysmorphia. It's never enough.
And many of their incomes depends on that, so it only makes the problem deeper.

  3. Big says,
The recent interview wherein Ted "Cancun* Cruz says Talarico is not "macsuline" and Talarico's response is the perfect one to this scenario. Masculinity has nothing to do with how one *looks.* It's how one *behaves.*
Dave has it right --- these men suffer from Body Dysmorphia. Media --- ALL media --- has convinced them that if they don't look like the models in the underwear/swimsuit/ ads they aren't worthy of anything.

    1. Oh, the MAGAts and the manosphere have the most twisted idea of what a man is that I've ever seen. And I've hang out with gay gym bunnies.
      And amen about the media.

  4. All I know is I am very happy with how I look, how I dress, my style and my body and that's all it's important to me and if people don't like it they don't have to look at it! I will say I do take some pride in my ass and legs though. And these insta gays who are getting their bodies by just all implants and silicone is just ridiculous ....that's scary as shit. How do they know what's going to happen down the road? And the sad part is these guys wear themselves to exhaustion looking good just for Instagram posts. I actually feel sorry for them. They're never going to be happy or satisfied with what they have or how they look, and are constantly looking for compliments and validation. To me that is no way to live.

    1. That's why you're happy, babes.
The idea that we have to chip away at our bodies and faces to fit a certain mold is just twisted.
You know the instagays will forever try to cut corners to look how they think they're supposed to look. Just give them a few years...
That is NO way to live.

  5. That's funny I just finished watching the video and I can honestly say the guys being interviewed in this clip or never ever going to be happy with themselves. They're just going to want more and more and more till they look like an AI image.

    1. Nope.
Never. There'll always be SOMETHING they want to ''fix'.

    It’s mental illness !
A new kind of narcissism, they literally fuck themselves over.
Like that New York socialite who wanted to look like a lioness or the guy who wanted to be a human Ken doll. It was never enough when it came to plastic surgery for them. And the bodybuilders obsessed with ever bigger muscles with the assist of hormones and steroids ready to blow out their hearts, livers and kidneys. (Christ, even over the counter meds warn you about over usage and organ damage and failure.)
Today all this made worse by social media as pointed out by the bodybuilder in this documentary.

    1. It is.
Just like being bulimic or anorexic. In the manosphere it's the bigorexia. Never too big. Until it's too late.
