Isn't it ironic..?

"Underneath" is the title of the latest from Alanis Morissette. Love her. And love her new song song! Can't wait for the new CD to be released. And love the theme of rejuvenating yourself, the Cocoon-like theme of the video is right up my alley. Gosh, sometimes I feel like I'm 98 years old. Other just like the kids in the pool. Welcome to my life.

In any case, then. It's funny (or depressing, it depends on how you look at it), how music could express so many things you can't (or won't) express. For many years now, Alanis has been writing and re-writing parts of my life with an uncanny accuracy that defies logic. Or maybe not. I guess I love her for the some reason that I like trolling the 'net for blogs of people who share my foes and my funny side, my lust and my being lost, my cravings and my crazy moments. But still, in the music world two people can totally speak for me: Shakira and Alanis. And very eloquently like Alanis does in 8 easy steps:
