The Gay Explorer
Oh, I know. The Gay Explorer is not Anderson Cooper, but hey. Who needs that when there's so much fun to be had? Also, I did not know that there were so many people interviewing gay porn stars. Yay! I'm not alone! Who knew there was a public for this? It's always good to find out your quirks are not that quirky and that there's other people out there who share your curiosity for things that others find unusual.
So this is an interview with Braxton Boyd, our gay porn star this week. He's tall and sweet and I know that some of you do have a thing for tall blonds, so there's that. And the interview was done by a very cute guy, so what's not to like? They both share a certain coltish restlessness that adds to the charm of the convo. It's fun to see interactions that are not overly processed and art directed to death. Braxton is a riot, at the same time goofy and sexy (well, duh, he's a porn star) and very entertaining. And of course he’s, got something to say.
I can’t believe (well, I totally can believe) people usually ask him over and over the same annoying questions: about relationships (of course) and money. I happen to agree with him: porn stars could (and do) have relationships outside of porn. Porn is work, people. We all have a love life outside of work, no? Also, money. That's rude. Would you ask your accountant friend how much she makes? No. And the one about staying hard: you think about sex. It’s simple. And looking at the men Braxton has had sex with on camera, I cannot say it would be difficult. And he's a porn star, of course he'd enjoy the idea of people jerking off to him. Duh.
He also talks about his IG and gives tips on how to start a conversation and how to give up booty when you've been a total top. You know, useful stuff. He also talks about connecting with other porn stars, how he compares himself to other porn stars, about how he never gets tired of sex (well, duh) and that he's gay (he also talks about the gay-for-pay models and he's quite good). He talks about body image and how his friends and family feel about his job. So sweet.

Oh, dear... maybe it is generational, but this one does little for me. I mean, if he hit on me at the prairie? Yeah, I'd be down with it - people of his quality rarely hit on me, but he's just too baby faced and cute and young for me. I like more character... some glaring flaws. Three things. I loved the interview....he seems playful. Two...he makes me miss Amsterdam. And three....it got me thinking maybe I should have done or do porn.
