Build Back Better
Apart from having one of the most diverse cabinets in history, Uncle Joe has chosen very capable people with experience on their fields or with the chops to do a good job. The people working with the Biden/Harris administration will look like America. Gone are the days of the relentless fuckery of the Cheeto administration. The worst Kakistocracy to ever rule any period in American history. Only six people stayed in Hair Furor's cabinet til the bitter end. Some lasted only one Scaramucchi.
I have hope that the next four years will be better. Without the White House being a source of lies, corruption, racism and xenophobia. With the first female Vice-president in the history of the country. With an adult at the wheel, decency will be restored:

ReplyDeleteI’m looking forward to sanity being restored to government. I know this will not be a perfect term but it will be a hell of a lot better than the last four years of a 💩 show. We have high expectations and we have to realize that only so much can be done. The wheels of government move slowly, especially when the repugs keep both feet on the brakes.

Hard to believe this nightmare is almost over. Biden will have a hell of a mess to clean up, while dealing with all the obstruction the Republicans in Congress can muster, plus millions of citizens believing he's a child-molesting election-stealer. We're lucky he even wanted the job.

Joe Biden's task is difficult and challenging. The US is deeply divided and T. was not the cause of these problems, even though he aggravated them. Biden will easily be better than his predecessor. Also because I think it will be difficult (but unfortunately not impossible, because the worst never ends) to do worse that T.
