Ten Reasons Why

@impact telling it how it is.

When people tell me that 'voting is not that important' I get stabby. Really. Take number one, for example: people ALWAYS complain about taxes. Yet, they don't vote. What?

This one seems innocuous, but read between the lines. This is how redlining starts.

I don't care about the environment because of me, because in forty years I'll be gone. I don't have children. I care about the environment because there WILL be people here after I'm gone...

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.
Yes.

See? It's simple.

These are the fuckers that BAN BOOKS. See how your vote DOES count??

I have two words for you: Aileen Cannon

This is VERY IMPORTANT. Do you know who your candidate is?

Two names come to mind: Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Green. Do they sound familiar??

So, cast a fucking vote!

    Big says,
See? From the lowest to the highest elected position, it matters who in that seat.
Aileen Cannon? How's about the last two clowns Moscow Mitch pushed through to the SCOTUS. Yeah, the ones who flat out LIED during confirmation hearings so they could vote to end the right to health privacy; the ones who are now poised to help end the contraception, same-sex relationships, gut what's left of voting rights, provide Repug state legislatures the power to install puppet representatives, senators and presidents, provide more legislative power to organized religions. And that's just in this upcoming term. XOXO

    1. Everybody.
Every fucking body is important in an election. And that's something people forget. This upcoming term IS one of the most important elections in our lives.

  5. If people don't like big ticket voting....they then should at least ALWAYS vote local and state positions. That affects them more directly then anything else. And if they can't be bothered to vote at all....best look out then. Because if Republicans get there way....they wanted to strip people of their voting rights if a citizen skips more then a year or two of no votes. We have so few rights, why wouldn't you use your right to vote? Even if voting for a lesser bad establishment polictian...Im half thrilled with Biden....but I sure as hell ain't wasting no vote for those GQP losers to get in.

    1. Absolutely.
It's just logical, Maddie. I cannot understand how people cannot grasp this concept. The Repugs are gonna go all in with voter suppression and with all kinds of fuckery affecting personal freedoms. Mark my words.

  6. Vote in every election, up and down ballot, always and ever.
Or lose the right to complain about your city, state, country, hell even the world, FOREVER!

    HuntleyBiGuy:
People not voting has consequences for ALL people. Not only do they lose their right to complain, as Bob said, other people lose so many other rights that have been enumerated in other comments.

We need a blue wave now and going forward, that drives the GQP into extinction.

  8. People who don't exercise their right to vote have no right to complain. We can fix this. 70% of this country are not ignorant. They are educated, evolved, and aware. We need that 70% to show up to the polls in November. It's not just our future... but the world's future. I am tired of lagging behind other countries. The USA is no long #1 at anything. We got lost in a sea of red.

    1. It blows my mind. Really.
And people who do not vote complain about EVERYTHING. That 70% need to get with it and go out and vote the ignorant bigots OUT.
And people are so selfish that they only think about themselves. Ugh. Makes me wanna hurl.

      XOXO
