Let's talk about Hunter...
You just know the Repugs have nothing on Uncle Joe when they relentlessly go for Hunter Biden and his 'laptop' while talking about the 'Biden Crime Family'. The first red flag is that it's not really his laptop, it's the contents of his phone, that apparently synched with his laptop, what they are talking about.
They leave out that the 'contents' are probably not Kosher (Rudi had the laptop, that tells you all) and that getting to the laptop was shady at best. Not that any kind of machinations would be disclosed by the GOP, but hey. The whole laptop story also fails to exonerate Mango Mussolini of any of the corrupt things he did, of course. The whole laptop thing is a Horcrux the Right hopes will distract from the fuckery going on in the Repug flanks, of course.
What I find most disturbing, is the theory that the Repugs keep pushing on the whole laptop thing to force Hunter to harm himself, thus manufacturing a second 'scandal' and therefore hurting Biden's second run for the presidency. Disgusting. But it's the GOP, so who's surprised?
I found the following thread on twitter (sorry, X just does not cut it) and I thought it would be convenient to get this side of who Hunter Biden actually is. He is neither the coked out sex fiend Marjorie Three Names slandered on the floor nor the victim some people consider him to be. He's a human being.

Try as a might I don't think anything will come of the Hunter Biden Fiasco that will hurt Joe's re-election. That being said there is something about Hunter Biden that I do not trust. And I usually have a very keen sense of judgment on people. Why I don't hate him I think there is definitely something in his background that is not adding up and something i don't trust. But that's neither here nor there and he's not the one running for president.
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree, there are crooked people on both sides of the aisle whether it be them directly or someone in their family. I have one friend that gets me angry. Because there is some Democrats that have done bad things in the past, but when they seem to do it he never mentions it or brushes it under the carpet. If we don't call out these crooked people we're only kidding ourselves.

What I think is that when Dems do stupid shit they own up to it and quit (Al Franken) but when the Repugs do it, they just keep going (Matt Gaetz). Both sides of the aisle do not behave the same.

I've always viewed the whole Hunter thing as shiny object wishful thinking on the part of the GOP. It has no legs. Ugly GOP mouths spouting lies, yes... but no legs. Unlike, say, Jared getting $2 billion from the Saudis for helping them kill that reporter. In the end, Hunter is a 'look over here' in a pathetic race to the bottom. I hope the GOP implodes and gets shredded in 2024. I think the orange ogre has the drooling, noxious mouth to do it, too. Whenever he posts something, I'm like... oh, yeah.
