Nothing more American than this story.

  1. I think Mangione should go to prison if found guilty because we should not be a country where you murder people for doing you wrong, but ... we need to rein in our healthcare business because it needs to be less business and more health and care.
    That first meme speaks loudly.

    1. Oh, he did shoot the CEO.
He also got a good lawyer. Remember Cheeto got out of a lot of shit cause he's got lawyers....
Health Care in the US is a scam that kills people.

Seriously was not expecting this in 2024 but in some ways, I was...

  3. The news media is just delighted that he's fighting extradition. It means this plays out for the next two weeks! Moron Musk can suck it. And speaking of sucking... am I alone - or is our assassin hot as hell? Handsome. Dark scruff. Total Italian Stud. I am thinking of founding a gay cult dedicated to syphoning his mojo. I saw pics of him hiking shirtless and immediately felt like he's the one. Kizzes.

    1. Oh the MSM is having a ball.
      It means clicks. Whores.
And you are NOT alone. He's absolutely hot and has the Robin Hood allure, so basically irresistible. If he goes to prison (which will probably happen) I will write him letters.

    2. Letters? I was thinking of giving him conjugal visits!!!!! I would service him as good...and he could tap me all he wanted!!!! That million dollar smile alone gets me hard.

  4. Big says,
The FBI & NYPD offer $60k reward!!! .... Mickey D's employee makes the call!!! ... United Health care denies the claim....
I read the entire "manifesto" yesterday. He nails exactly what is wrong with our healthcare system. Until voters figure out that spending $2k / year in taxes is cheaper than $8k / year for "insurance" this is what we'll be stuck with.
As for the GOP bellyaching about folks making Luigi a hero: Um, Kyle Rittenhouse, anyone? Anyone??

    1. I agree with you. Voters need to be more educated and vote politicians out if they can't get this long standing issue continue. It just gets held over our heads as yet another hot point topic to get votes.....but in the past when either party had had all three branches of government...nothing gets done still. Which tells me they are all in the pockets of the health insurance companies. Something is wrong when people pay up the ass for healthcare and yet still don't get approved for procedures and other health related issues. So then what the point of any of it? Greed is going to completely bury this country. And like dumbasses we will accept it and move on......

    2. America's healthcare system is broken: it's a business to enrich (more) already rich people.
And I think the Shittenhouse analogy is on point.
      @ Mads: absolutely agree.

    HuntleyBiGuy :
There is so much swirling around the interwebs, from the CEO taking a hit out on himself due to financial issues so his family could collect life insurance, to all sorts of conspiracy theories, and then you have Elmo with his take.

I agree with the others that he should go to prison if found guilty. Then the state will pay for his healthcare. I’m sure if the X-ray is true, he’s in all sorts of pain.

Finally, taking a page from Bob, would you hit it? Yes, yes indeed.

    1. Oh, the conspiracy theorists are having a ball.
Especially cause rich people has always been shielded from things like this. And the state will not pay for his healthcare in prison. Prisons have the worst healthcare in the world.
And I'd let him hit it repeatedly, babes. Yes.

  6. Musk's ruthless comment summarizes the Healthcare industry's philosophy completely . Keep in mind, those enforcing these rules have health care beyond belief. The tip of the iceberg is in full view and tackling the problem would damage the Holy Economy. They simply don't understand, it's going to happen whether they like it or not.

    1. Musk is a monster of greed.
Same as any other rich person: they don't care about others because they are absolutely fine. Bottom line? Earnings.

  7. I don’t support at all what Mangione has done. And I don’t support at all what US healthcare has become (or maybe always was). I hope Mangione goes to prison and the government will then provide his healthcare.

    1. Oh, I'm not mad at Mangione. I'm mad at the US healthcare system.
Was what he did morally turbulent? Yes. Am I sorry for the CEO? Nope.
The government provides the worst healthcare possible to prisons, so there's that...

    2. I stupidly didn’t consider the quality of healthcare in prisons. Still, it might be better than what he’s been getting that may have led him to this action. I must admit I’m not sorry for the CEO either. And that makes me feel awful.

The chickens have come to roost and this is only the beginning, as always there will be copycats.
Mangione should be released, Trump got away with his crimes, and the CEO Thompson got his just desserts for denying life saving healthcare to many and was seeking to increase even more denials of health claims and thus more innocents dead.
As for Musk, he will have his comeuppance at his own hands. :)

I think CEOs are shaking in their boots. And they should be. Especially those in positions of power over people's lives.
I can't wait until Musk falls pray of his own fuckery.

  9. I long said this sort of thing was going to happen if healthcare does not get under control in this country. We are going to see a lot more of this. And against any greedy corporate CEOs . A time of reckoning is coming. While I can't say I blame him, as I can see where he's coming from, I don't think he'll get away scott free and probably shouldn't. While not a hero...he's not a villain either. It goes back to why I don't believe in pardons either., especially if laws are broken. I never understood why people are getting pardoned for bad behaviors or breaking the law. To me it's just a free pass and shows bad behavior and breaking the law doesn't have consequences.

    1. It's INSANE.
I just learned I cannot see an ophthalmologist because he only accepts one kind of insurance (that I apparently don't have, and I DO have insurance). It's the same corporation I've used for YEARS but this ONE doctor cannot see me because of money. I'm one of the poors, apparently...
And Luigi is more of an anti-hero for me. A product of the situation.

  10. And. Musks comment is the eason this will continue ....because of the attitude and comment that the evil bastard blob Musk said. He just admitted that these CEOS and companies are basically ruthless to gets profit and results. Fuck him and fuck them. I hope he's next.
