Oh, two parties..?
Because we very, very often talk about the ‘two-party-curse” on this blog thing here. I think this video could give us a better conversation starter for our next awkward family holiday get together with a Leftist (or heaven help you, a Libertarian) that likes Jill Stein for President. Or some nonsense like that.

I will have to watch the video once home, but I don't think the country will ever see a third successful party. And Jill Stein. I don't hate her, she has some good ideas, but I also don't agree with her on everything either. Of course, I don't agree with most politicians on everything....
ReplyDeleteWe have three main national political parties in Canada. The third party has never won an election or formed government, but it often holds the balance of power in a minority government situation. And since our third party is a democratic socialist party, that's a good thing.
