Yeah, yeah. I know. You don't like toys, blah, blah, blah. Or maybe you just don't like talking about sex toys. Oh, you're not alone. many men refuse to talk about sex toys. It's like a dirty little secret or some kind of guilty pleasure (literally). But I do like to talk about sex toys. They can be tons of fun! But not everybody enjoys them. Sex toys are like every other thing in life. Let's say, they're like driving, for example. Some people like to drive a stick shift. Some people only do automatic transmission. Some people can drive either. It's just a matter of how is it that you like your cars.

But really. I cannot understand the reticence that some gay (and straight) men show when it comes to talking about sex toys. Every time I go to a sex shop there's like a dozen dudes roaming around and maybe one girl. And maybe one couple. So what the hell are those men doing there? Looking for a hammer? Even though women seem more open to talk about sex toys (oh, the DMs and texts I've gotten!) most men demure when it comes to talking about dildoes or sleeves or even the Fleshjack for Pete's sake. That is, unless they are into some kink. When men have a kink, talking about sex toys is just part of the convo.

But kinksters are usually uninhibited and do not really mind talking about whatever toys they use to enhance their fun. I've gotten an earful every time I've asked. But they've given me good guidance. At the end of the day t's finding what works for you. It's like finding a car you really like to drive. And as it is the case with cars,  I'm not a connoisseur, but I have explored some sex toys here and there. And to tell you the truth is that I have only gotten into some toys lately, and by lately I mean the last few years. Before that, I was quite unaware of them and even unimaginative when it came to their use and never really thought about dropping by my local sex shop and grabbing some goodies. The only thing I usually stocked on was lube, condoms and the odd leather cockring. For the longest time I wore one or two as bracelets. The good thing is that most men in my life have been open to talking about or using sex toys, even though some of them have drawn the line at 'flavored lube'. And I don't mind that. Really. Even though I think that couples could (and do!) have more fun with the addition of a sex toy, I secretly believe that  they work much better when you try them solo. Have you seen how many Cam Boys making a coin with a prostate stimulator are out there right now? You drop that token and it's heaven. It's a win/win situation.

The idea that nobody knows our bodies like ourselves may be true (women have been demonstrating that for years and years) most men would only confess to liking toys under torture or after a very effective blow job. And I think there may be a hint of misplaced self-importance in it. It's some kind of "am I not good enough for the deed?" kind of attitude (same with Viagra, but that's another post). And sex toys may be something that we come to think about after we've had some experience. I never thought of toys when I was in my early twenties, for example. But back then sex was urgent and slightly careless and a little rushed. I think that with age I have fallen into a more sensual, slower-paced approach to intimacy. Fucking is a more tactile act now and therefore the idea of enhancing it or extending the pleasure is not something that seems alien or misplaced. I also know my body better.

I think I may not as adventurous as Adore, though. I am willing to try a sex toy or two but I think that toy that's been recommended for edging may be a little bit too much for me. Too many little cables. I would put that in the same category as those buttplugs that are remotely operated using an app.  And let's not forget about the cock cages. I'm not THAT gutsy. After all, I've never learned to drive a stick shift. I feel more comfortable with automatic transmission.

XOXO

P.S. I really like Adore.

  1. I like your changing attitudes. So, as you may have read, I bought two dildoes at the start of the pandemic, because - I know me - and I do not go without. Uh-uh. Well, I have to say, while I like one of them a lot... playing with them alone? It's okay... but I feel like I am playing the same song over and over again. So I tend to let them sit in the drawer. Now, I kind of want to share them with someone and 'make 'em take it'. I dunno. Not doing anything right now (come on vaccine). But I have a feeling my two fellas will end up being re-homed. I love your enthusiasm for them. And... I have to say - I love watching fleshlight vids. They are super hot. I don't know that I would get into it myself, though. But I would like to try one before purchasing. Oh... and what is this you are saying about viagra? I have a story there, too... like Walgreens is insane and keeps giving me a 30 day supply every 30 days. I don't have a reason to take it... or should I just because I can? LOL. Love you, kid. Wish we were in the same city.

    1. Haha you bought two, huh? Like a good Boy Scout: always ready. And sharing is caring! They can be fun on their own, but with someone else, they gain in fun potential.
And yeah, I've changed my mind about toys and like you, actually like the fleshlight videos a lot. I like watching men vigorously pursuing their own pleasure.
And your Viagra story is crazy!! Now that there's a generic version getting a boner is easier than ever!
And I swear, once we all get vaccinated we need to plan road trips galore!!

  2. A born again virgin! I think that’s happened to a lot of us over that last year. I loved our trips to Lover’s Lane, perusing the goods.

And you do have to be open to the possibilities and go with the flow. Toys can open up a whole new world in a relationship. And now with the isolation, it’s a good way to explore your own body. Toys help you get through the lonely days.

    3. Hahahaha see what you start? Troublemaker!
But toys can indeed open another layer of intimacy when you're with someone. It also kind of takes the edge off 'performing'. The focus of the action can switch and it allows for a more sensual approach to fucking.
And Maddie, you just KNOW we will have to get together some time after we've gained heard immunity and the gang is all vaccinated. Sex toy party or not. Of course, that would a Masterclass I would not want to miss. Jimmy, get the tickets!!

  3. I think you know where I am on the spectrum of kink. I have a bag of toys, but nothing electric , battery operated or remote controlled. Edging does nothing for me.
The question for me is; does the top like a tight hole or a loose sloppy hole? I know I like to at least feel something going in and out, and not be stretched out like a power bottom.

On a side note: Adam &Eve's headquarters was located in the tiny town where I lived in North Carolina (lol). I knew some of the girls (college graduate students) who use to work the phone orders. The stories they told. Oh, My!

    1. Haha yes, I feel you, Jimmy. I feel you.
I think battery operated can be fun, bu when your hands are slippery with lube that can be awkward. And the Power Bottom dilemma: always depending on what one's working with.

About the sex shops: It's so cool that there's mostly female salespeople on the floor (or on the phone). They're super well informed, personable and fun to talk to. The way one once explained to me the difference between silicone and water-based lube should be used in sex ed classes. I'd like to hear some of those stories they told!

  6. In my younger days I went to a number of fuckerware parties and quite frankly, the toys were pretty much always overpriced, overhyped and not all that well made. Sex toys are absolutely no substitute for "the real thing," in my opinion. But I know lots of people like them.

    1. Now, if someone invited me to a fuckerware party, I'd go just for the name. And for shit and giggles.
And I think the toys would be overpriced and shoddily made. That's why I took to going personally to the sex shops and asked tons of questions. I also have to see (and touch) the product. They are totally not a substitute for the 'real thing' but they can be fun.
Yep. tons of people like them.

  7. "...looking for a hammer?" LOL. They're looking for a hammer all right.
Toys can be fun. As you probably know, I've promoted the use. Over the years, I've purchased cock rings - is there a guy who hasn't? - I wore out an AccuJac to which I still have and use the sleeves. We (the wife and I) have vibrators and a dildo. We used to have all kinds of fun with those.
The new sex shops around here are in nicer places now, cleaner, more brightly lit, with no peep-show shit in back rooms and there are ***always*** women in them. You go, ladies!
But. The guys are still too skittish about toys - although the FleshJack if the most popular sex toy on the market, so we know they're buying and using them. I guess we have to remember that guys are just now beginning to admit they masturbate. Poor dears have a long, long way to go. XOXO

    2. LOL
Yes, toys can be fun. And I've read your posts!
I think many men have tried cock rings. Having an orgasm with a cockring on can be mind blowing. I think vibrators are a game changer for women. Really.
And sex shops in suburbia (where I languish) are cheery and have a Valentine/Halloween atmosphere that belies the sexy treasures inside. And yes, for the girls working the floor there!
And guys are weird. They masturbate when they're in a relationship. They masturbate when they're Asexual. They masturbate no matter what. And still demure when it comes to toys. Give me a break!
And I'm with Jimmy. If there's a tutorial, I want a copy too!

But, I would be down with that Master Class. You, Huntley, and Maddie better not leave me out! I'd be a good instructor. LOL XOXO

  8. I'm like you...was never much into sex toys. But since the Lad set me up with Fun Factory after clone a willy was a failure....I can't lie....I have enjoyed fucking myself with my own dick!!!Bwhahahahahaha. I now know why guys complain about the tip going in! Yes I do! He also got me the flashback a couple years ago. That is fun...I generally get very intense cum shots with it. And it's been amazing when on Chaturbait how many guys enjoying watching it. But that's all I use. The simple and less fuss with sex toys the better.

And Im glad some enjoy Adore. The two times she came to Philly drag shows...I couldn't stand the bitch. She annoys me beyond belief and is so unkempt. I always felt I needed a silkwood shower after seeing her. And I also want to give her a brush. Once asked her if she had a brush with her. Well yes was replied. Good . Use it, I said. There's some tea. I didn't want you going through withdrawals dear.

Oh, I bet it's quite the experience!! I seem to have it from a good source.
And I know tons of guys who swear by the Fleshlight. Swear by it. The orgasms are apparently epic.
I keep forgetting to go on a Chaturbate. I used to visit a forum, I forget the name now, and there were some absolutely delicious men there. We would get on the chat and cheer and holler until they came. Fun, fun.

And I like Adore. I think she's a punk rocker doing drag, rather than a Drag queen doing punk rock. And I love your tea!! LOL

  9. Being so oral, I don't love sex toys. I couldn't suck a plastic dick or fuck an plastic mouth/ass. For more stimulation, I prefer to watch amateur or professional porn videos.

About Delano (here his wiki bio), I like him so much as a marvellous man! I don't care he/she's a cross gender queer. It's the same about Conchita Wurst (here his bio). You'll see here on his IG, how much he's sexy as a man, whatever way he dresses!

    1. Oh, yes.
That makes sense. Some men like the fleshjack because it feels like a mouth, though.
      And porn always comes handy.
I also think Adore is super cute as a boy. Same for Conchita.

    2. however, if I played with sex toys, I would have no problem admitting it, as I have no problem admitting that I like to swallow cum when I give a blowjob.
