Oh, Mark and Keith..?
TBH I do not feel the need to possess five thousand square feet of space to live comfortably. I’d just need a supermarket at walkable distance and good public transportation. Maybe for retirement? I like the economy in space and the having what’s necessary for comfort with a touch of the artistic. And those views.

P. S. Derek Jarman used to live in Dungeness. And now I want a tour of his house.
My one quibble are the low ceilings; at 6'2" I would feel myself stopping over all the time. But I love the idea of a rail car recycled into a home.

Oh, yes.
DeleteTall men. I'm 5'9" so I have no trouble. And I absolutely love the idea of upcycling a living space like this.

Big says,
ReplyDeleteThe small sq footage wouldn't bother me with such wonderful open outdoor space. But the ceiling height would be a killer. That space where they have the vinyl collection and chair? My record collection would fill it! LOL.
XOXO
Same.
DeleteI think the idea of having all that space outside is priceless. Really. And I would not know where to put my clothes, but I'd Marie Kondo it.

Definitely not a house for someone with dogs. And for some reason, whenever I hear Dungeness, I think of crabs.
ReplyDeleteThey do have fab crab restaurants there, though...
DeleteIt's the seashore, babes.

HuntleyBiGuy:
ReplyDeleteIt’s a nice little cabin, an ingenious repurposing of a decommissioned rail car. I agree this could be an ideal year round home, assuming it is climatized for harsh weather.

It's super cute.
DeleteI love the idea of using non-conventional places to live. Love that. I think it could be used year round.
XOXO
Yep, it's where I'm at. I could totally live there and love the space. Not big or grande. And the beach? YES. I'd could be very happy living in that house there. ADORED the bedroom treatment.
ReplyDeleteSame.
DeleteI think this kind of space is where I feel more comfortable. And imagine being close to the beach all year round. The bedroom is a mood!
