The Trans experience is definitely intersectional and it encompasses several identities and realms. But I, as a Cisgender Gay man, cannot really talk about it. I lack that 'insider's view' to it. But I found this video of @ villanamarie talking about her experience as a Trans artist in SXSW and decided to post it here. It's a short interview, but it really is an eye opener, especially for people who have Cis privilege and know shit about Trans issues. Because you just know those are the first ones to jump to it and talk nonsense. If you are a Cis male and especially if you are white and/or gay and 'passing' (as in people think you're straight).
